Are you a chocolata lover? i’m a cacao lovin momma! And Mmmmmmm. this is a tasty super easy raw chocolate recipe!
let’s go….

this recipe is perfect to make chocolates and moulds or pour the chocolate paste onto a lined tray to make chocolate bark which is like a bar of chocolate but not moulded
EASY Chocolate Recipe
Ingredients:
100g organic coconut oil
75g organic cocoa powder (ideally raw)
3 Tbsp honey or sweetner of choice
2 tsp natural vanilla extract (optional)
Method:
Weigh the coconut oil and spoon into a bain marie to melt on low heat, stir in your sweetener the vanilla extract and slowly add the cocoa powder stir until smooth consistency take off the heat quickly. note: I always recommend avoid melting things in microwaves as microwaves change the cellular structure of food and can affect the blood in a negative way, I always prefer to heat naturally in a pan or other natural method
To make chocolate bark
spread your chocolate onto natural chemical free parchment paper.
To make chocolates in a mould
Gently spoon the chocolate paste while runny into the moulds
finishing touches
Sprinkle with nuts or dried fruit and optional cocoa powder dusting .
Put in the freezer for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
Store in a cool place and I’m sure you’ll eat within a week or two. I can guarantee they will not last that long.
Here are some amazing variations
✨🍫super fruit and nut bar🍫✨
✨ sprinkle a chocolate bark bar with raw hazlenuts and naturally dried golden raisins (organic. chemical free)

Chocolate Praline
Add to your mixture very finally chopped hazelnuts and mix
Ginger chocolate
Chop up crystallised ginger and add into the recipe
Peanut Butter cups
Using a chocolate mould fill with 2/3rds chocolate and then add a small portion of peanut butter, cover it up with chocolate , please note that this variation is low in sugar as Reese’s peanut butter cup recipes recommend you mix the peanut butter with icing sugar to stiffen it up making a firm ball obviously if you want to do it this way you can do but I prefer low sugar
Superfood chocolate is wonderful
you can add in
✨mushroom complex (reishi, turkey tail, cordyceps, lionsmane) etc, these mushroom blends go great with raw cacao
✨ maca powder (a super powerhouse for strength) has a wonderful caramel flavour
✨ A small pinch of ashwagandha powder, a great adaptogen to reduce stress and for good health
✨ you can optionally add in a pinch of celtic sea salt for a mineral boost and a sweet salty taste
